NWA Area casinos hit the jackpot

Northwest Arkansas may not have any casinos within state lines but its close proximity to Eastern Oklahoma means Las Vegas-style gaming is only a few short hours away. Dozens of casinos are well within driving distance for NWA residents to either spend a long weekend or even just an exciting night out.

 

Cherokee Casino

Located in West Siloam Springs this casino and hotel have countless amenities sure satisfy all your needs. The casino boasts a variety of games including 900 slot machines, a 12-table poker room with Texas Hold Em, Omaha poker, and seven-card stud, live craps, live roulette, and blackjack. They also feature weekly specials like Table Top Tuesdays and Winning Wednesday. Cherokee Casino also has multiple dining options; Flint Creek Steakhouse, River Cane Buffet, River Cane Café, and Sweet Treats Coffee Shop.

 

Downstream Casino

Downstream Casino is a state-of-the-art casino owned and operated by the Quapaw Nation of Oklahoma, and is designed to give everyone who visits a “superb experience.” Downstream’s hotel has two towers, Kappa and Osotouy, and each has its own amenities that make everyone’s stay luxurious and comfortable. There is an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, poolside bar, fitness center, jacuzzi, fire pit, and private cabanas are also available to rent. The casino has poker, craps, roulette, and slots. Downstream also has Legends Sports Bar that features live music every weekend, as well as The Venue and Pavilion that have a variety of shows throughout the year.

 

Indigo Sky Casino & Resort

Indigo Sky Casino & Resort offers a relaxing, fun experience and is one of the largest casinos in Northeast Oklahoma. The casino features over 1,250 gaming machines, a poker room, and 12 table games, among other gaming options. The dining options match the excellence of the casino with the Three Sisters Food Court, ECHO bar, and Shawanoe Restaurant & Bar. Live entertainment is also a staple at Indigo Sky with different performers featured throughout the year.

 

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has one of the largest varieties of table games in the state, as well as a poker room and over 2,600 popular electronic games. Hard Rock also has a venue named The Joint that is a 45,000 square foot amphitheater-style room dedicated to giving guests a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. Another new addition to Hard Rock is Track 5, which serves as a bar and dance hall. Grand Lake Casino

Grand Lake Casino is 45,000 square feet of pure entertainment. There are over 600 slot machines, live music every Friday night, and two restaurants; Sue’s Good Eats and the brand new Venue 655. Grand Lake is unique in that it also offers outdoor experiences, in addition to the casino, like Reel Time Fishing Adventures, Grand Lake Golfing, mountain biking, hiking, rock crawling, boating, Lendonwood Gardens, and the Har-Ber Village Museum, all within close proximity to Grand Lake.
