A great addition to the Springdale restaurant scene…now open for lunch and dinner every day!

Mark and Laura Bazyk opened The All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater in Springdale in October of 2021, but they are no strangers to the restaurant business. “We have owned restaurants since 1987,” Laura said. “We felt Springdale residents and Northwest Arkansas would appreciate having a place to call their own. A place they could be proud to bring their visiting friends and families.”

The East Coast chain has seven locations in Maryland and Virginia, but the one at 3492 W. Sunset Ave. is the first in Arkansas. The All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater opened its doors at their flagship restaurant on November 25, 2003 in Edgewater, Maryland. Its mission was simple: to offer a family–friendly casual dining steakhouse providing good-old fashioned, friendly service, while serving high-quality food, featuring, among other things, delicious steaks, and all of this, in a fun, energetic, sports-themed atmosphere.

“The concept was established approximately 20 years ago in Maryland by George Jones and Brock Anderson,” says Mark. “It features aged steaks hand cut in house by our butchers, and made from scratch rolls, soups, and pastas, specialty salads, drinks and desserts.”

When you enter the restaurant, you immediately see where the magic happens. “Our mesquite grill is on display as you walk in the door,” Laura points out. “Some of our favorite menu items are the Filet with House Topping, Cowboy Ribeye, Fish and Chips, Crab Dip, Chesapeake Wings & Salmon Salad.”

All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater steaks are wet-aged on average 45 to 70 days, cut and then dry-aged for another 5 to 7 days. This extensive aging process is what separates this eatery from the competition. All dishes are made from scratch using the best ingredients. It’s the little details that keep the guests returning, from grilling a lemon to be squeezed on a fresh grilled fish, to making the brownies for their signature dessert, the Brownie Sundae.

Of course, if you really want to know what an eating establishment is all about, you need to look at what customers are saying. Here is a sample of some of the five-star Google reviews the All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater has already garnered in the short time since it opened:

“The food was awesome, the staff was great, the owners were very friendly and stopped to share their story with us. Our waiter Ashley was super friendly and sweet. Be sure to try the apple bread pudding unbelievably delicious. Definitely worth your visit.” – Lavelle P.

“Fantastic service and food, Springdale has needed a restaurant like this for years. I had center cut Pork chops, wild rice and a wedge salad. Fantastic, and Mark the owner came to greet me and tell me more about the place. I will definitely return for more. You definitely need to go try this place.” – Larry S.

“Best restaurant we have been to in a long time! Staff was very friendly and the food was awesome! The French onion soup was outstanding!!!” – Laura H.

While the food is certainly worth bragging about, the Sports Theater is not to be overlooked. On any given game day you are sure to find the action you are looking for to accompany the great food and beverage selection offered at the restaurant. “Although the food is the star of the show, our Sports Theater is unlike any other,” Mark notes. “We have a full bar and 10 projection screens for wide variety of sports viewing.”

Any great restaurant is only as good as its staff and Mark and Laura are very proud of the team they have assembled. Their management team is led by Roy Reed, General Manager. It also includes Anna Ledbetter, Assistant Manager; Roberto Lazo, Kitchen Manager; Amy Stephens, and Bently Ingram.

The Bazyks also want to encourage people to come join their “All American” team.

“We’d love to see you in Springdale to experience our beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and all American hospitality,” Mark says. “We are excited to be here in Springdale, and thank you for your encouragement and support!”
